Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Thiripa ("Thiripa", "we", "us") collects, uses, and safeguards personal data when you visit thiripa.com or contact us during our current stealth (pre-launch) phase. We are committed to handling personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) and, where applicable, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are
Thiripa is the data fiduciary/controller responsible for the personal data described here. For any privacy request, contact us via our contact form.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Early-access requests: your name, work email, organization (optional), and the message you send us.
- Direct correspondence: any information you include when contacting us.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data your browser sends when loading the site (e.g., IP address, device/browser type), used only for security and to keep the site available.
- We do not use advertising or behavioral tracking cookies on this stealth site.
3. How we use your data
- To evaluate and respond to early-access and partnership requests.
- To communicate with you about Thiripa as we approach launch (only in response to your request).
- To maintain the security, integrity, and availability of our website.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on your consent (when you contact us), our legitimate interests (responding to inquiries, securing our site), and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data with:
- Service providers that help us operate the site or communicate with you, under appropriate confidentiality and data-processing terms.
- Authorities where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
6. Third-party services
This site currently loads web fonts and styling utilities from third-party CDNs (Google Fonts and Tailwind CSS). These providers may receive your IP address as a technical necessity of delivering those assets. We plan to self-host these assets at launch to minimize third-party requests.
7. International transfers
We are based in India and may process data there or in other jurisdictions. Where data is transferred internationally, we apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.
8. Data retention
We keep early-access and correspondence data only as long as needed to evaluate and respond to your request, and thereafter as required for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may ask us to delete it sooner (see your rights below).
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and encryption where appropriate. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our safeguards regularly.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (DPDP / GDPR), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you, and request a copy.
- Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure of your data.
- Withdraw consent, or object to / restrict certain processing.
